Job Overview

Behavior Assistant:

Implement treatment plans and interventions established by Behavior Analyst; provide behavior interventions with children and adolescents using a variety of applied behavior analysis techniques in the home, community, and/or school; manage and handle patients with behavioral problems; develop and initiate safety standards for patients at all times; monitor, record and document observations of patient behavior; modify daily activities of patients appropriate for behavioral interventions; instruct and counsel children and adolescents on positive behavior aspects; maintain and manage clean and safe environment for patients; develop and initiate appropriate recreational activities for patients; and recognize and report any abuse.

What we require:

  • Must pass a criminal background check
  • Reliable means of transportation with proof of car insurance
  • Liability insurance
  • CPR certified
  • Experience working with children/adolescents
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
